Most people go through many stages of pet ownership in their life. Growing up, we always had cats at home. It didn't matter who was getting rid of their feline or putting their kitty up for adoption, we were the ones to take it in. Interestingly enough, a lot of my friend's homes were the opposite. They either were petless or they were dog people. You know you've come to a dog home when you hear barking the second before you start knocking on the door.
